Larry K. Dunn has twenty years experience practicing law in Northern Nevada. Mr. Dunn began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney when he graduated from law school. For two years he prosecuted crimes on the Misdemeanor & Felony Teams and did thirteen jury trials in that time period. Mr. Dunn opened his own criminal defense law practice in 1986 and has worked solely in that area ever since.

Mr. Dunn sits as a Judge Pro Tem at the Reno Municipal Court.
Mr. Dunn lectures at the National Judicial College, High Sierra Regional Law Enforcement Academy, & Nevada Law Enforcement Academy in the areas of cross examination, report writing, and DUI defense.
Additionally, he conducts seminars on DUI Defense for the State Bar of Nevada’s Continuing Legal Education Program.

Military Service

Mr. Dunn served his country for six years in the United States Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War.
